Touring park software FAQ
What is a touring park booking system?
A touring park booking system manages bookable caravan and motorhome pitches, live availability, guest and tourer details, prices, payments and daily arrivals. It should help the park offer suitable pitches rather than treating every touring space as interchangeable.
Can Keydesk manage caravans and motorhomes on the same park?
Yes. You can configure grades for caravan, motorhome and mixed-use pitches, then give each grade its own capacity, pricing and booking rules. The exact setup should reflect how your park allocates units and which details staff need to check suitability.
Can guests choose a specific touring pitch?
Keydesk can organise availability by accommodation grade and exact unit. Whether a guest chooses an exact pitch or the park allocates one is an operating decision to agree during setup. Do not promise a pitch-selection journey until it has been configured and tested for your park.
Does it support per-pitch and per-person prices?
Yes. Touring prices can combine a base pitch charge with adult, child and extra charges. Rules can differ by pitch grade and date range, including peak dates, minimum stays and arrival restrictions.
Can touring guests pay a deposit online?
Yes. You can configure a deposit or full-payment policy. Stripe processes card payments securely, and the reservation keeps its payment history and outstanding balance visible to staff.
Does Keydesk connect to Pitchup or other booking channels?
Not yet. Keydesk currently focuses on bookings taken by your team and through your own website. OTA and marketplace connections are not live, so Keydesk is not currently suitable where automatic external-channel synchronisation is essential.
Is this also static caravan owner-management software?
No. Keydesk currently focuses on bookable stays. It does not claim private-owner accounts, annual site-fee invoicing, meter readings, caravan sales or utility billing. See the caravan park page for the full scope distinction.
Can Keydesk help move existing touring bookings?
For suitable early-access parks, Keydesk reviews the current spreadsheet or export before agreeing a migration route. The setup, future bookings, deposits and balances are checked case by case rather than assuming every source file can be imported unchanged.
Run the next touring season from a clearer system.
