Is Keydesk suitable for touring caravan parks?
Yes. Keydesk can model touring pitch grades such as electric grass, non-electric grass, hardstanding and fully serviced pitches, with pricing and availability rules for each. Staff can take bookings in the office while guests use the direct online booking journey.
Can Keydesk manage static caravans?
Keydesk can manage bookable static caravans in a hire fleet, including availability, reservations, pricing, guests and payments. It does not currently claim owner-account management, annual site-fee invoicing, meter readings, caravan sales, commissions or utility workflows for privately owned statics.
Can caravan guests book through my own website?
Yes. Add a Book Now link from your existing website to Keydesk Direct. Guests can search live dates, choose suitable accommodation, enter their details, pay the configured deposit or full amount and receive confirmation.
Does it support per-person and per-pitch pricing?
Yes. Touring accommodation can use per-pitch, per-adult and per-child charges, while hire caravans and other units can use nightly or fixed-break pricing. Rules can differ by grade and date range.
How do deposits and balances work?
You configure whether guests pay a deposit or the full amount. Card payments are processed securely through Stripe, and the booking record shows the payment history, balance and due dates for the team.
Does Keydesk connect to Pitchup or other booking channels?
Not yet. Keydesk currently focuses on bookings taken by your team and through your own website. OTA and marketplace connections are not live, so do not choose Keydesk today if automatic external-channel synchronisation is essential.
Can you help us move from a spreadsheet or older booking system?
Early access includes hands-on setup and migration support for suitable partners. Keydesk works with you to configure pitch grades, pricing and future reservations, with a checked cutover plan rather than asking the park to start again.
